Flavas Education & Schools Foundation is dedicated to supporting children in Jamaica, especially in underserved and rural communities, by improving access to education, nutrition, wellbeing and safe school environments.
We work closely with schools and communities to provide breakfast programmes, school supplies, enrichment activities and improvements to learning spaces — so every child can thrive and reach their full potential.
At the heart of everything we do is the belief that every child deserves equal opportunities, support and a brighter future.
Our Story
How It All Began
Flavas Education & Schools Foundation was established from a shared desire to support children and schools in Jamaica, particularly those in disadvantaged and rural communities.
The charity was founded by a group of individuals who recognised that many schools face challenges in providing the resources and opportunities children need to thrive. Early plans focused on three key areas: improving access to nutrition through breakfast programmes, organising wellbeing and enrichment activities for pupils, and providing play, sports and educational equipment.
The foundation's vision is to create opportunities that support both education and wellbeing. As the organisation grows, it hopes to expand its reach and develop long-term partnerships that will help improve educational experiences for young people across Jamaica.
